Don't mess with a new teacher who used to be a marine...

A former Sergeant in the Marine Corps started his life afresh. He took a new job as a high school teacher. Just prior the beginning of the school year, he injured his back. The doctor advised him to wear plaster cast around his torso, fortunately for him - the cast was was thin enough to fit under his shirt, and wasn't noticeable.

After going to class, he realized that he was assigned to the toughest students of the school. The students knew he was a former Marine and he knew that the student would test his discipline in the classroom. The new teacher walked quite confidently into the classroom, He found that the classroom was rowdy and rambunctious. Before taking a seat, he opened the window, but a strong breeze blew in the process. The former Marine, then - picked up a stapler from his desk and stapled the tie to his chest.

This is how he earned a lot of respect. The rest of the year went very smoothly.
